Welcome! We’re happy to have you attending our online workshop Franklin Method® Fascia training. On Tuesday 15 June 2021 you can follow this workshop via Zoom.
My name is Janneke Jansen. I’m an occupational therapist specialised in equestrians and have a bachelor in Equine sports and science. I’m also Franklin Method Equestrian Pelvis Trainer and Franklin ball instructor and a certified Franklin Method Fascia Trainer for the pelvis and lower back.
During this 2 hour online workshop we’ll talk about fascia and muscle slings. Why is this important in riding? Well, this tissue play an important part in helping you to move efficiently and effectively. Fascia drives rotation and counter-rotation in your body that is needed to follow the horse’s movements. Especially during fast gait rytms and laterals.
We will explore and embody the fascia in the lower back and pelvis, supported by Franklin Method imagery and ball exercises. If you have Franklin balls, keep them ready. If not? No problem! Use a balled up pair of socks or a rolled up towel. It is good to make sure you have some space to move around during this webinar.
The online workshop is at Tuesday 15 June 2021:
15.00h Amsterdam Time – 14.00h UK Time – 9.00h (9AM) New York Time
You can attend our Zoom meeting with the following link and the passcode: FMFasc1521
The replay will be available to you on this platform for one week after recording.

You might have noticed most of the information on my website is in Dutch. Luckily there’s google translate and you will probably see some translations of my blogs appear on the Franklin Method Equestrian website.
I do give some webinars in English as well, you can find them in our webshop. These will also be announced on the Franklin Method Equestrian Facebookgroup.
